Faraday Engineers
Thank you for agreeing to be a Faraday Engineer.
You are now part of a network of volunteers who will visit schools and help bring science and engineering to life for young people.
We are sure that you will not only provide students with engaging examples of the real life application of engineering, but will also enjoy the experience. Schools will certainly welcome your help.
The participating school will decide how they wish to use the expertise of Faraday Engineers, so you should be prepared to be flexible in your approach.
We do not expect you to be teachers and we do not want you to spend hours preparing lengthy, intricate presentations. However, we do want you to be familiar with the objectives of the IET Faraday programme and the Faraday 08 (Technology for Life) website and challenges.
This section of the website contains information and advice designed to help you plan your school visits. You will find:

- Information about the Faraday 08 website
- Information about the Faraday 08 challenges

Please spend a little time looking through these sections. If you would like any further support, please contact us.
