Global Transport Challenge
- Are your students 11-14 years old?
- Are they the engineers of the future?
- Do they have a great idea for the future of luxury global transport?
Enter the IET Future of Luxury Global Transport Challenge!
To enter, students must come up with a future luxury global transport concept and create an advertising campaign for it.
There are two ways to take part:
1. Individual entries - students must create a magazine spread.
2. Group entries - groups of up to 4 students must create a magazine spread AND TV advertisement.
To find out more about the competition and what your students must do to enter, download the challenge brief, the appropriate entry form (depending on whether they are entering as a group or an individual), the terms and conditions, and the judges' criteria - all of which are available below.
So what are you waiting for?
The winning students with the best ideas nationally will be crowned IET Faraday Student or Group Innovators of the Year 2014. But that’s not all, the winners will also receive Amazon vouchers for themselves and £200 (GB Sterling or equivalent) for their school to help support STEM activities. There will be other cool prizes up for grabs too!
Explore the Resources section of the IET Faraday website for new materials within the topic of energy and transport that may help you to come up with some initial ideas. The supporting videos may be used as a starter to a lesson to get your students thinking about the innovative technology and advances already taking place in this area.
On completion of the entry form and any supporting documents you would like to include, send it into us via post or email using the details below.
